BOMBAY BEACH, SALTON SEA, CA

Come with me on Round 2 to Bombay Beach on the Salton Sea in Southern California.

First go around I was a bit sussed, but there's really nothing to be worried about as long as you're respectful and aware of your surroundings.

I was a bit bolder on my drive... did you know that this "tire repair shop" gas station was featured in Adam Lambert's music video for his song "Ghost Town," peep it at 11 seconds...

So just a little side trip before we got into Bombay Beach again.

I finally ventured out the the boneyard coast of the Salton Sea.

The coast of Bombay Beach has many art installations, most notable the swing set in the middle of the lake, and the doorway to nowhere.

The Bombay Beach Drive-In has a variety of vintage cars in a state of disrepair. However, I don't think you'll be able to catch any movie screenings here.
